No it doesn't have to do with the distance, the neighbors on my street, well 9 of the neighbors, all chipped in and paid for a water pipe to be ran down the street.

Its a good cash flow area but I just read that Intel is investing 20 Billion dollars for a chip plant near Columbus. 

I tried to save some money but putting some wood chips, I might have to invest and plant some grass. 

When you remove these resources simply because of the convenience factor you chip away at a community's resiliency.

I just called BB&T mortgage department and they told me about their Chip program.

This gets even more complicated when you are having them all chip on utilities which would likely rely on you having to keep it in your name then splitting it up and billing back them. 

Removal of paint in chipping areas may require remediation.

I also see grass roots investors in this arena.To note...being a electrical contractor & my personal investing are inextricably intertwined (my books are not lol) its just how the chips fell.As you probably know Bay Area tech is compressing which affects my "day job ".

I also have a little basket in each bathroom with sewing kits, emery boards, shower caps (all of these I get from my travels) plus I bought a big box of "La Fresh travel-lite" individually wrapped makeup remover towelettes online (which I highly recommend- I have lost fewer towels and facecloths to makeup once I started providing these), etc.I provide snacks for people when they arrive, e.g. a couple of granola bars and a couple of bags of salty snacks like pretzels- I go to Costco and see what they have that's individually packaged, has an extended sell-by date (some of the chips have to get used up quicker than I would use them) and then look for something that runs less that 45 cents each.
