Is anyone seeing an increase of repurposing commercial to residential properties in the greater Sacramento area?

What are your thoughts on commercial real estate in the manufacturing, retail & non dwelling buildings?

I'm just doing research so any feedback is appreciated

Thanks

Hey Alan, I'm a local broker, investor, and PM (100+ STR/MTR listings).

I’ve been very interested in “adaptive reuse” for a while now and saw the Biden admin’s new policies aimed at increasing these projects in October. Currently taking a development program through Cornell U with the aim of preparing myself for this kind of involved project.

There is definitely an increase in vacant stock all over California. Now would be a good time to get serious about this trend in my estimation. Commercial is down and residential is up.
