While opinions of well meaning referral sources are helpful and I could give you names and numbers, they are also highly subjective.I doubt there is a property manager active in Cincinnati that has not had one client sing his praises and another quit in dissatisfaction.

My wife and I are active-duty Army Officers stationed in San Antonio, TX.We've been investing in new-construction single-family homes with Rent to Retirement in Florida, Alabama, and soon in the Carolinas.

Sadly you would need to either have a spouse qualify for REPS (you cannot due to w2) or either make under 100k per year so you can deduct up to 25k of losses per year and actively participate(this is different then material participation). 

I could not find a way to stop this activity.

But, I also just got an email saying that my License in MA is still active??

I don't plan to stop actively investing for at least 10-15 years, and that is my job.
