We got lucky but a lot of us, most of us lost power and can't find it how long it will take to restore power it seems so far using the elec. co. resources but I guess that means they're all too busy fixing things.

So my faith in humanity is somewhat restored.

Here is an example; let just say I found this apartment complex with 22 units with a value of $1,995,000 would you recommend to partner up with somebody so we can come up with either a 10% or 20% and then finance the rest? Or

I should wait for water to be restored before renting it out?? 

Also, if it is not covered by insurance call a local restoration company and see if they will do the work for a reduced rate because it will be a self pay. 

I have found that the Restore - Habitat for Humanity stores are great when trying to save a buck.

If the building has a heritage designation, or you simply wish to preserve the elaborate external trim or dentil or internal mouldings, these things are time consuming and skill sets to restore them, uncommon. 

In the remodel and restoration business I worked in for 15 years, I would routinely give free line item estimates to past clients that had actually contracted work with me.

I have been using Clock Shark for about 2 years in my restoration business and have been very happy with it.

Try calling a local fire or smoke restoration company they may know a little about local codes and also put you in contact with someone who can answer more questions.
