I was looking at some of the duplexes near downtown Portsmouth, VA, in the section north of I-264 and east of I-164 (near the Navy Medical Center) because you can pick some up for $20K-60K; but they are all circa 1900, need a lot of work, and there are a lot of boarded up houses in that area.

My husband is pilot just in the Navy :) So its nice to see a fellow pilot family!
