Hello everyone! I'm a new member and wanted to introduce myself. I've been lurking on BP for a couple of weeks now and have found the the site and forum to be very helpful.

A couple of years ago I was honorably discharged from the Air Force after serving for four years. Since then, I've moved to San Jose where I currently work as a medical equipment technician.

Over the past few years I've managed to save enough for a down payment on an investment property. Right now I'm looking at cash flow properties in Fresno, since investing in the bay area is a bit out of my budget (and from what I've been reading, more valuable for appreciation rather than cash flow). If anyone knows about the area and what I should look for, I'd truly appreciate it.
