Elkhart/Goshen's economy is largely dependent on RV, trailer, and boat manufacturing - there is some risk when those industries are slow or having shut downs (recessions have major impacts on this area), still a thriving area overall today.

I am in Indianapolis (only a couple of hours from there) so a similar feel but not so rural with a thriving job market.

Do you think furnished properties rented by the room will thrive or die during and after COVID-19?

I know of no existing STR provisions deriving specifically from the City of Long Beach, which has always been a thriving rental community.
