Also my HOA requires replacement as they want to maintain curb appeal.  

i'm not much of a beer drinker, so i pretty much left a full fridge shelf of good beer.my realtor shut that really quick for liability reasons (somebody having too many and destroying property), but enjoyed the cold water bottle on a hot day.this still worked out OKAY since my curb never had too much trash/garbage after that hot week (hint, hint)

We initially only got paid $30k from Edison Insurance, so we spent months trying to figure out money with them while moving and repairing other properties that were also damaged from the storm.Since it's our personal home and there were some weird things about it, we're taking the time to move some walls around, ie make the laundry room bigger than 3 feet by 8 feet and changing a half bath to a whole bath to add value, improving curb appeal etc.

It's a condo complex so assigned parking with numbers painted on the curb.

IMO it would really improve the curb appeal.

The rent is $1950 and I did not want the ugly driveway destroy the overall curb appeal, it was an eyesoar.Could I have left it and achieved a better number?

I feel it was well worth the investment of adding a pool and upgrading the curb appeal.
