It would be helpful to know whether this is going to be an issue with any property manager or if I've just got one with a very aggressive position on this.2) if you were the target of a lawsuit or action by regulators and your contract with your PM required you to indemnify him/her, how did that play out?

I’ve just started looking into real estate investing and would like to learn how to “run numbers” on a property to be able to tell if it would be a good deal or not.

Honestly, I've just rented my condo for a week and It's been a nightmare.First, they want special treatment in terms of payment (this is VR so we ask for 50% with the reservation and the rest 1 week before entry).

I've just converted my primary residence into a rental property and definitely got bit by the real estate investor bug. 

I've just jumped in to REI this past year, so I'm a newbie and we weren't expecting to sell this property for at least another 5 years, but here we are... 

I make around $600 a month working part-time.I recently found a plot of land in the town I live on sale for 100k.
