TOP DFW Suburbs; Coppell, Plano, Frisco, University Park, FlowerMound, SouthLake, Richardson, Murphy, Fairview, Collyville, Allen, HighlandPark, Sunnyvalle, Keller, Trophy Club, Double Oak, HighlandVillage, Lantana, Parker, Grapevine McKinney, Lucas, Prosper, The ColonyNow I cull those that are not rent friendly and that leaves me with; Trophy Club, Keller, Colleyville,  Richardson, SouthLake, Plano.Finally I would prefer areas that are coming up and not setting at the top of the market so I cull the top and I am left with;Trophy Club, Keller, Colleyville

I also haven't seen anything more than a duplex in the Frisco, Plano, Carrolton, Richardson, McKinney, Celina, and surrounding areas.You could try Craigslist but it's a gamble.
