I am looking to buy a few rental properties in north DFW area, that meets 1% rule. Also am looking forward to meeting agents, lenders both conventional and hard money and  investors to network with.  

I am hoping somebody can tell me how many unrelated occupants can be in a house in DFW - let's say Plano, Arlington, Frisco, etcI ask because I am interested in house hacking - currently looking at large homes to accommodate this plan (5-6 BR, 4+ Bath) Any responses appreciated

After being laid off, I discovered that I would need to be in the Plano/Irving area of north Dallas, Texas enable to be closer to technology jobs.

I am looking for a real estate agent in the DFW/Plano area that is willing to walk through properties in the next few weeks. 

A lot of the surrounding areas (Fort Worth, Irving, Plano, Frisco, Arlington, etc) look very promising for me. 

I grew up in Plano and went to schools in Plano ISD.

I also haven't seen anything more than a duplex in the Frisco, Plano, Carrolton, Richardson, McKinney, Celina, and surrounding areas.You could try Craigslist but it's a gamble.

Just be careful falling in love with any investment property.Hi Peter,It’s in East Plano, los Robles area, good neighborhood and close to a big park and school, So I check if there anything for rent and didn’t find anything.
