I haven't noticed the kindle cloud reader or Mac OS reader generating any particular load on my mac computers.

Give a copy of everything to the landlord, and keep three copies yourself — one on your hard drive, one on some piece of cloud storage like a Google Drive or in DropBox, and one physical copy like a CD with the relevant information on it in your ‘legal documents’ folder.How to Use a Inspection ChecklistWith any luck (and a good relationship with your landlord), you won’t ever need all that documentation.

I prefer this over cloud based programs as I don't feel comfortable with all that data being held about my income assets in the cloud.

That first year was rough, I had my head in the clouds and took my eye off my cash flow and instead tried to be some overly savvy hybrid of an accountant, lawyer, & RE investor.  

If you are using your apps in the cloud then it won't matter what you are using to get there.If you plan to need to install software (Quickbooks etc.) then it's best to go with MS because software is compatible.Beyond compatibility and cost there isn't much difference in laptops.

I'm not saying buying real estate should be as simple as buying toothpaste, and I get the idea of title clouds, but there HAS to be a better system than the one we have in place.

I used hard money to fund an auction purchase with plenty of time (actually got an extra 30 day extension due to a title cloud). 

Ive heard of stessa and tenant cloud on some of the more recent BP podcasts.
