Thanks for the on-site, I was looking at diversifying my portfolio, can’t have all the eggs in the same basket!

I know this business can be fruitful when done well, but I just don't have the capital to start without some sort of assistance.

My line of thinking is.. we know RE investing long term can bear tons of fruit.

To put a twist on what you are doing, instead of trying to filter out the list for what you think is "low hanging fruit" I would mail to all of them.

The more information you gather the more fruitful your future.

That's throwing more eggs into one basket instead of spreading them out.

Locks are a deterrant for lazy low hanging fruit types of criminals.

You would wait until you had the funds to get everything you need all at once, so you can enjoy the savings that coupon offers over a full basket and not over a five dollar purchase.  

Obviously understanding these investment alternatives would be on a case-by-case basis but my gut says the low interest rate on the existing mortgage makes the existing house the most fruitful deal since the Portland market has been appreciating faster than Ohio markets for the past 20 years.

This just doesn't seem to work in the RE world anymore and my single momma, single income self is worries I'm putting too may of my eggs into one basket.
