Brrrr cites, where should I be thinking ?

Hello! I own a couple real estate properties in California, I’ve been Airbnbing two, I’ve been listening to bigger podcast lately often, I want to try the brrrr strategy, probably California was hats impossible - house prices in modesto wher I live are averaging 300k. I want to take equity out of my primary and use that to purchase something else - what cities in the US should I focus on? I’m really new to this and have been on the fence of giving this a shot- I’ve been pretty successful so far with Airbnb so I’m leaning towards something new! Any ideas or info would help- thanks everyone!

Jesse

Jesse,

Why are you wanting to change strategies away from Airbnb, especially if you're having success with it?

I see too many investors that get the "shiny object" or "grass is always greener" syndrome. The investors that are most successful are the ones that develop a solid strategy, continually improve and stay focused.

If you really want to BRRRR, the good news is you can BRRRR anywhere, as long as you have a solid deal where you can value add or buy at a discount. I would be more concerned with building a team to help you find, fund and execute the BRRRR.

Best of luck!
