IF it does turn out that its not allowed in your landlord policy you could void the entire contract if the carrier finds out.

The reason I suggest that is, in my experience, there are regional Insurance carriers (only write in a limited number of states) that are often the most competitive for the quality rental 1-4 family dwellings.
