How do I remove my cell number to stop robo calls and VA calls?

I have several rentals in Texas and Kansas. Years ago I listed my mobile phone number on contracts and tax forms that were likely filed by the local county. Unfortunately wholesalers and businesses has gotten access to my cell phone number and I'm inundated with robo calls and VA calls from the Phillipines constantly. Where are these folks getting my number so I can take it off? The irony is that when I was doing some wholesaling myself a few years ago i would have wanted this info. I have no ill will against businesses that are trying to make a living doing cold calls but its really negatively impacting my life now. I can't change my cell phone number because I've had it too long.

Any suggestions on how to remove my number from these lists?

The spammers are just spoofing legitimate phone numbers. Nearly everyone with a cell phone receives these auto-dialed calls, and nearly all of the calls are illegal. Unfortunately they are unable to stop them at present.

My phone carrier, T-Mobile, does a decent job of blocking tons of these calls from reaching me. There are other products on the market that also do an okay job of screening these calls out. One of the app companies owns thousands of phone lines and monitors for calls emanating from the same number and blocks it. The problem is the numbers constantly change, and can even be from legitimate sources.
