Or are you breaking ground in the winter where you have to wait for a time where temps are above 32FIn general, we build a ~3000 square foot 4/3/3 in 6-8 months once we break ground but it can take 2-3 months of preliminary work before we can even break ground.

Hi Nikki,If you and Mr want more money to invest with, maybe Mr. could get a weekend Temp Job from a Temp Agency for 6 months, bankroll all of it and then re-asses your situation.Although if you're thinking about putting your money into a rental vs. your own home, and intend to stay with the family until ????

That type of weather maybe presents itself 1-3 weeks every other year.I'm thinking about offering to buy them a window a/c unit/portable type unit or an evaporative cooler(humidity is low, temp is not too hot so this should work well i think)
