I dont know how most tenants or investors feel about this and if this is a drawback.

The only drawback I see is that Google could change or discontinue the service at any time, as they've done occasionally with other services.

I understand that I can once I view a specific property with a specific agent, I'm bound to use them should I make an offer on that property, but are there any drawbacks in viewing multiple properties from multiple agents?

One drawback is LS is not recommended for commercial property investments. 

From my experience, the benefit of going tankless to you beyond marketing would be the probability of longer service use before it rots out, 20+ years -- with the drawback of a bit more maintenance annually or every few years.
