That’s just unnecessary friction.Or if they are paying electronically, they have to use the Equity Trust Platform, I believe, not sure if they’ve changed that.So do your research on which has the easiest most responsive platform for moving money in and out.Equity Trust also takes a long time to process new investments so I’ve actually had them wire loan proceeds far in advance of closing to my attorneys office.Consider using Checkbook IRA, this will solve all of the difficulties you described.

In either type of 203k loan, all the work will have to be done by an approved 203k contractor. they prohibit any work to be done by the buyer because that adds unnecessary risk that they refuse to take.
