The expense of replacing a fridge in a C class apartment where you buy a refurbished white freezer top small sized fridge ($300-400) Vs replacing a side by side stainless steel fridge in a top line vacation rental ($2k+) is not apples to apples.

I recently got news that my first and only rental property was broken into while we've been trying to fill it, and the fridge, stove, washer & dryer were stolen.

A $2k rental will have a nicer fridge than a $1200 rental, which will be nicer than an $850 rental.My rentals include fridge, mounted microwave, and dishwasher.

Our cleaner do dust everyone, clean the fridge, take the trash to the dump, sweep walkways, disinfect light switches,  door knobs and remotes.We get rave reviews for being the cleanest STR people have stayed in.

I would not do such an extensive renovation here as you mentioned.I would get a new fridge and double oven.

I just got a great fridge for $200 that usually goes for $1000.
