In order to foreclose you have to meet specific guidelines, which in some states DOES NOT include being licensed.An attorney can file a complaint against you for owning a note for not being licensed but if the foreclosure statute does not specifically state you need to be licensed - you can still foreclose.

We do not have lien information at the Sheriff's Office.A federal tax lien itself will be extinguished by the Confirmation Entry, but there is a separate right of redemption accorded to the Federal Government by statute, which entitles it to come in and claim real property any time within 120 days after the signed confirmation is filed with the Clerk of Court.

Say for example in the case I am convicted of being negligent in the case of a landlord. http://www.kslegislature.org/li/b2011_12/statute/040_000_0000_chapter/I'd call and ask my Attorney Generals office but they don't have a clue.
