The country doesn't have an army.Costa Rica found a gold mine many, many years ago in promoting nature and the environment and adapted the slogan "Pura Vida" as a way of life (Pure life)Having said all that, as the result of the international economic slowdown, Costa Rica start to feel the pinch as well.

It may not be as easy as you think to adapt what you're considering to residential use.

I say you need to be flexible and adapt to the market and what the market gives you. 

But if requirements floow through, you'll find lenders adapting, working smarter, seeking better financing, performing better underwriting and thereby reducing servicing costs.
