The new tenants may pay on time, but maybe they love their dance music with a lot of bass.  

My basement is FULL of her stuff and the neighbors are complaining about the loud music nearly every night at 2 AM.

I'll tell you that Real Estate can be a lot like music if you don't have deep pockets.

That eliminates a lot of the talking, music, kid screaming noise.Another cheap option would be to buy a hallway runner carpet, and padding for under it and give it to your tenant.

You dont want to turn the situation into one where others are moving out of an apartment because the new neighbor blasts music and parties 5 nights a week.  

Some people just don't want to be complainers, or they assume you know about the problem and choose not to do anything about it.I had a tenant who someone complained about for having friends over and they'd play acoustic music into the wee hours of the morning.  

College kids like to illegally download music and movies.
