Although there are no foreseeable catalysts in turbocharging household incomes or population growth, there are no foreseeable cataclysmic events that should shake that up.

If you just have a property or two, when it all shakes out you shouldn't be taxed on any of that income, plus you earn equity and leverage or exchage the equity tax free as well.  

The point is was trying to make is that there was no car there, no tracks in the snow from a vehicle yet they somehow were able to afford barely enough to keep the 5 of them (2 young kids) warm.My realtor, attorney (and everyone I tell the story to) just shake their heads... 

The thing that makes me shake my head is some of these GPs are buying $500M in assets, making 1-2.5% in a short period of time just for buying stuff.

Pow. is well aware of this, shaking his fist in the air yelling "WTF, your supposed to let prices come down damn you!". 

I keep shaking my head how investors all over North America are looking at the wrong places still.

But the stories on this site just make me shake my head.

I think age but at the same time - I do know firsthand that losing something or someone close to you does shake loose many preconceived ideas of "value".
