Without other recently sold MFRs close by, you could have challenges developing the numbers for financing.Now, you did say 3-story - I can't tell if that translates to a unit per story or not.Remember: 5+ units is commercial multi-family and is valued by it's ability to produce income.

No one Starbucks manager can BK Starbucks, and there's no reason to assume that less than perfect business owner track record would translate to bad Starbucks shift manager where most of the decisions are probably made via some corporate flow chart anyways. :)

Occupancy rates will be lower, care will be less, renters in the area more in number versus owner/occupants, just generally less of a demand for another property in that area which translates into less of a demand for your personal property as well.
