My wife and I want to buy a ranch in the west and start a ministry that is focused on broken families. 

@Mike H.I am a christian so I use a Program called Christian Healthcare Ministries.  

They run a great ministry and after-school program there.

But the goal is so that when I die that this real estate will continue my ministry.

Our church has a huge ministry that deals with rescuing people being used in such a horrific way, and if you think there's any acceptable excuse for such treatment of others, then I don't know what to say, except shame on you.

So when I'm not performing in shows around town, I'm either working as a researcher for an online construction publication or helping lead a student ministry at my church here in the city.In my current role at work I have the ability to listen to the BP podcasts while I work, which I've really taken advantage of the past couple of weeks and my interest in real estate investing has grow significantly!

Last January we leased the big house to a Christian ministry school (it's very well established throughout the country) that said they were going to use it to house students in their program.

If you're concerned for the kids in a neighborhood, find out if there are any civic groups, or ministries working in the area, that you could donate to.

@Joseph Konney There's a ministry in Denver Co that I LOVE called Mile High Ministries.

I am in real estate investing, to be able to free myself from my 9 to 5 job and hopefully to answer God's call in my life as a full time minister or Pastoral Ministry.
