You have to earn a mentor by showing up a lot and then your mentor will appear.

Only other initial question I'll leave here is that I'm looking for REI mentors and hope to find a few on BP willing to share a few gold nuggets to those willing to slog it out in the mines the smart or hard way.

One of their so called instructors from one of the training sessions asks the students to go to the five star hotels, or go play golf, or go horse riding, or go hang out at the high end night clubs for the sake of fund raising.

This session starts next week on 2/11 (recordings of sessions will also be available to participants).

Usually a post like this or even remotely similar to this is posted by a newbie or someone that has a coaching program for sale.  I don’t consider myself a newbie however there’s always still something I can learn. :-...

I do have two really good mentors / coaches I work with that would be able to provide more input but they do charge for their time.
