I'm in a college (state university) town allong with three other large universities a state vo-tech jr. college and several business colleges.I'd say that any state university will be adding alot to the local economy base, in fact it's an anchor that will likely be the most stable activity in any area.

It's always good to verify the rules with your company's plan administrator, as they can vary.If you have quite a bit in the 401K, as you become aware of the broader investment universe outside of mutual funds, kind of makes you want to change jobs just to get your hands on the money!

Having a rigorous technical degree from a 4 year university is a very strong hedge against your other investments.Getting a full scholarship for maintaining a minimum very B average (hopefully you are doing better than that) is a gift from heaven that you should get down on your knees and be thankful for every half hour that passes.There are other intangeable benefits to a college degree that cannot be realized in any other way than getting a college degree.Most people do not quit their jobs to invest in RE full time.
