Hello All,
Actually Im from Atascadero 30 min north of SLO. I invest in SFR's in Bakersfield Ca. Fix up and hold. Would like to get into apartments. Bought my first investment property in 2009. Still wet behind the ears. Would love to share with you all the things I did right and wrong. Here is one resent that I did wrong. When A toilet is backed up and you get it snaked get it scoped so you know what was causing it to back up. I was told to do this by a very experiened landloard and I decided not to an save the $80.00 it would of cost. So three weeks later it cost me $1000 because of water damage. Lesson Learned. Anyway Thanks for letting me introduce myself.
Eric
