You can not receive an Act 50 on aparcel you are renting to another occupant.According the State Statue of this Act, you are only entitled to receive this tax relief on yourprimary residence and no other property.

SB-9 does require compliance with local zoning regulations, but there is a relief valve.

If you only appeal at the Assessor, but don't look to further your appeal are you really maximizing your potential tax relief?

The court may also grant injunctive relief restraining a violation of this chapter and may grant that other relief, including, but not limited to, the restraint, by injunction or appointment of a receiver, of any transfer, pledge, assignment, or other disposition of the person's assets or any concealment, alteration, destruction, or other disposition of subpoenaed books, records, or documents, as the court deems appropriate until the person has fully complied with the subpoena or subpoena duces tecum and the department has completed its investigation or examination.
