I have friends who do this, and I have great respect for it.Still, I know that finding the best deals, and avoiding the worst deals, are more likely if you invest locally and have deep local knowledge.

For quality relationships to form, it can take time so I'd recommend digging deep into someones goals and their 'why' when looking to build your team of investors/partners.I'd recommend checking out meetup.com, eventbrite and of course BP Events.

Even if BP did deep validation, things change.
