Additionally, before closing I painted the kitchen cabinets and began marketing the property for rent; Again this was risky, and I was a bit nervous he would back out after I putting time and money into the property without owning it, but I knew he wanted to sell all his California properties so I did it anyways.

If it makes you nervous to get to the place, then every guest will have the same issues.

I am also nervous about my move to the DC area wont work out and I will have this house as an option in case I want to return to the bay area and will never be able purchase a similar home if I sell it.

It could also be nerves, I was definitely nervous to put myself out there when I joined BP and became an agent.
