I would not be angry or insulted because they are just fishing for bigger fish. 

The more I invest, the sooner I can retire to a life filled with fishing, laying on the beach, and playing video games.

Bonus Question: What are some great lakes to fish other than Wallenpaupack that produce a nice variety of fish.Sorry for the lengthy question but any feedback will help me with my decision. 

I would not allow unfixed animals (minus birds and fish) because of:1. the negative behaviour of those animals 2. what you can infer about their owners3. the neighbourhood animals they will attract

This avoids the entire fishing around for a trustworthy agent that probably doesn't care in the first place (after all, if you're a thousand miles away, there's nothing to stop them from saying the property is in a great area).The localized partner can also ward off issues with a property management company - they can drive by the property easily to make sure everything is in working order and provide easy access to the PM, whereas, you'll be a thousand miles away and unable to control things - you'd be reliant on other folks that don't have skin in the game.

I enjoy hunting, fishing and spending time with my fam. 

I have spent some time in AK (never in winter though). enjoy fishing/hunting, and my Uncle lives in Anchorage.

I live, work, and play in the Utah county area so if any of you out there wants to meet up for lunch, play some golf, go hike, fish, shoot, etc...I'm always game.  

The Butte Sink is one of the top duck hunting destinations in the world and Redding is a top fly fishing spot.

More into maybe getting a mountain cabin ( not a beach guy) were I can fly fish. and walk in the pines and firs. between were you live and Lake Tahoe there are some great spots. and some that are pretty reasonable ..
