That can be 3 years, 6 years or indefinitely for certain reporting items.For other non-tax documentation purposes, I am not sure there are any hard cut off dates, you keep things as long as the documents have foreseeable relevance.In this day and age I establish an electronic copy of all important documents and simply keep the electronic files indefinitely.

each room should have electronic lock ( no need for keys if someone moves you change the code) main entry do the same.Basically a standard lease is fine, you list the property address and add room number. each renter has lease agreement for that room in the house, you don't put anyone else's name of the lease, the personI would include utilities and charge enough rent to cover all.Set a parking area per each person, so they know where to park.
