Investing is risk, knowing what you are risking and assessing if the return is appropriate to the risk you are taking is crucial.

Financial goals: Our current jobs provide for high-income but not a lot of time for active real-estate investing, so our strategy is long-term buy-and-hold with less headache properties.

Any uptick in flipping activity?

I'm currently moving my investing activity to a different area and working on building my power team in that area. 

That’s all complicated by investment returns being active and the debt write-off being passive and how that effects your tax picture, etc.
