Was doing some aerobatics out of Aero Country airport last year in a Decathlon.

I'd pick a city/airport that has good demand, register a few crash pads, advertise them and handle the transactions.

I have flown in to Omak nice airport there .. 

@Angela Vestal I recently purchased a 4plex 5 mins from the Anchorage airport and a buddy mentioned this to me as both of his parents were career flight attendants.

Outside of selecting an area you always wanted to  live in, I would select a market based on the airport because of my traveling job.I personally enjoy not having connecting flights and anytime I could reduce my travel, it’s a win for me.There are good deals in any market, but make sure you run your numbers once you identify a location and potential homes.I wish you all the best.

I recently got a job near the Austin, TX airport.

I know its somewhat far from the airport but its in a beautiful development.

There is a large commercial airport (used for freight exclusively) and many businesses around.
