Cheap Starter Home

I recently got a job near the Austin, TX airport. I was speaking with a realtor and he gave me some really good ideas. 

He suggested to get land for ~15k in Manor, TX, and put a mobile on it for ~10k.

I checked online and also drove around yesterday. I didn't see any land for that price. 

Anyone know if that exists and if so, where I should look?
