You can also listen in on Rob Abasolo's Youtube channel (Rob is one of the recent Bigger Pockets host) and you will learn a lot from him.If this group offers an opportunity to invest with them or their properties, then it may be worth the price. 

I’d recommend listening to the straight up Chicago investor podcast for local information, going to the variety of meetups that are in this great city, and meeting a lot of the people posting here. 

Listening to all of the podcasts and reading the BP books / Rich Dad Poor Dad types makes it seem like building a portfolio and scaling smart could lead to early retirement and living on cash flow that ultimately replaces your income. 

I'm all ears and willing to learn and listen to opinions! 

Skills or qualities in no particular order: Communication, patience, empathy, listening ear, backbone, resilience, determination, organization, work ethic, lead a team, thick skin, time management, trusts their instinct, and all-around good ethics! 

Listening to the folks who have been in the market 40-50 yrs is a breath of fresh air.  

But I wouldn't say they would help you anymore than just listening to podcast on wholesaling.

I've been listening to the real estate rookie podcast and others like it for over a year now.

I'm a leader, not a boss, but they see and hear far more than I do so I'd be an idiot not to listen to my team.I think as you grow and expand, you too will do the same whether as a Transactional Lender or anything else you do.
