I follow an abbreviated BRRRR method.

They are the following (abbreviated):1) Taxes and assessments for 2015 - $10,0002) Open-end mortgage - $65,0003) Mortgage - $75,0004) Collateral assignment of leases and rents - $91,0005) Open-end mortgage - $91,000Is this something I should still bid on?

That's actually the #1 thing to-do on my list: learn common real estate investing terms, abbreviations, etc.

@Patricia Miller  Another point of confusion here are the terms Cost-of-Cash (more apropos to flipping) vs Cash-on-Cash (apropos to rentals)  @Mindy JensenThe abbreviation CoC,  C-C, C/C is ambiguous. 

Definitely get an abbreviated Appraisal if you are going to Protest.

You are more than likely overwhelmed by the abbreviations and math coming at you all at once.

PRINCIPAL MERIDIAN, IN COOK COUNTY ILLINOIS.So the word COUNTY has been abbreviated to CO in the title commitment I'm supposed to sign, my lawyer says it should be OK but I'm not so sure, I have yet to find a deed in cook county that abbreviates the word cook.
