Two concerns I have ….it is really close to the highway (homeless issue) and seems to be still at the early process of gentrification…the house would be a second home but as primary residence and hopefully in 5-6 years would become a rental property…

Yours sounds like it's not the greatest area as the house across the street is boarded up (think crack house/homeless squatters).
