Just be very clear on pets you will/will not allow, make sure you understand the support/medical/emotional pets laws in your state as well.Ultimately, if you're screening your tenants correctly, you'll be choosing tenants who are responsible pet owners anyways....Hope this helps!

I realized that working insane hours and traveling all the time for work would hurt my family too much. 

I don't like the idea of closing off the LR/kitchen doorway altogether because it makes traveling from kitchen to front door a long path.

Find investors that have already walked down the road you are going to travel and pick their brain and get their contacts and then you pay it forward no charge.

The realtor's communication with this tenant does not seem to be helping. 2) If she actually moved in, it is 95% likely she may have additional tenant protections due to her age and medical condition.
