Looks like Fundrise has investments in Downtown San Jose, Outer Mission and Downtown Oakland.

I'd say start with what you know so if your primarily from or know Hidalgo County well go for it, you got plenty of bigger towns there, Mcallen, Edinburg, and Mission.

It's bringing in $6k in revenue but it is in the heart of little italy.My MTR in mission beach has experienced the opposite.
