I tend to see varying degrees of quality (and quantity is another factor as well), but I wonder what that really tells me.

It would be worth fostering a relationship with the university so that they know they could close one big purchase with you, rather than numerous purchases with others for the same quantity of land.

When our PM has a unit up for rent, he usually updates us about every 4-7 days, depending on quantity and quality of showings he gets.

Another advantage is that you can have them populate the list exactly the way you want it and even pre-filter it based on your criteria instead of getting a list in whatever format the county decides to give you containing a huge quantity of names and information that will then need to be sorted and pared down (scubbed) anyway.

I imagine the deals are pretty slim in quantity at the moment, but I'm looking to connect with any folks who have made their profession finding deals along the Front Range.Also, I spend most of my time in Fort Collins and I see a few bandit signs around town, but have been impressed with the recent advertising campaign of a local investor on quite a few yellow bus stop or street signage locations around town.
