Are there a lot of visitors? 

What surprised me was that the man is in the real estate business and should know about the importance of notification of long term unauthorized "visitors".

To me, the more important mark is getting 1000+ users on each day (I am not talking about visitors, but active members using the site each day).

While I typically ignore these lists (even the ones that we do make), it got me thinking that we only have slightly over 4,000 likes on Facebook right now...For a site with 110,000 members and close to 1/2 million visitors last month, I think we can do better!

You do not need a work permit or a green card to buy property in the US, it will be tough to get a mortgage without either but I'm sure the IRS will welcome the extra revenue from an alien filing taxes.Your biggest problem IMHO is that you are not guaranteed entry at the borders and the activities you say you want to engage in when you come are almost certainly  not permitted on a visitors visa because I think they will be deemed as working. 

It's not hard to see why--walk the neighborhood, talk to residents and visitors, and it'll become plain that it's all based on sentiment, and has little to do with actual crime statistics or school achievement or weather.
