I am in bay area california and been an active investor for the last 8 years .My investments have done relatively well but chances are very slim you will come across some great deals now in this hot market  .

On the positive: equity pay down, rent and property appreciation, tax benefits).My view as old school is this “deal” is too slim for the effort of residential RE.  

The market in Dallas area is super competitive and the multi-family options are slim.

I don’t know how you can call that person or infer that the guy is a slum lord based off of the slim bit of info he offered.

What your asking for is is realistically has a slim to zero chance of happening, and that's the brutal truth.

So while the chances are slim things will go south, if they do, you likely won’t care for the outcome.

So many companies have closed down or left the south lately that the pickings are slim!

If house is worth $250k then I would stick to my guns at $250k price and have the seller come down.Chances of someone paying $275k are slim as paying 10% over value is more unlikely today.

They’re just way too slim pickings out here on the open market.

Chances of creating any kind of seal are slim to none, but could still help.
