Never had issues with late/missed rent, but I ended up offering cash for keys after about a year because I found there were a lot of headaches unrelated to rent payment - noise, unreasonable maintenance upgrade requests, no respecting communication boundaries, etc.

Yup, it's in there, specified as part of the lease assignment section.The main points seem to be:Not without written consent of Lessor... which will not be unreasonably withheldSo yeah, looks like it's there, but that "unreasonably withheld" is kind of vague.

Is that being unreasonable?

My other criteria are non smoker, no cats, dogs with fee, and income 3 times rental, etc.If 600 ish is unreasonable, what numbers do ya'll use?

I don't think its an unreasonably request for the seller to ask for proof, if your reason for cancellation was due to the inspection.

The sale fell through due to unreasonable buyer demands following the inspection - first time homeowner who essentially wanted a "brand new" 70 year old home.

Paying 8% for money on a flip is not unreasonable.

They are Not responsible for someone's washing machine inside their unit malfunctioning......and it is Totally unreasonable for you to think they should be.  

I would still receive calls and emails from tenants regarding the maintenance requests, and forward to the subcontractor after I screen out unreasonable requests.
