Insulation companies actually buy in such quantities that their price for material and installation is less than what you would pay to do it yourself from a big box store.

I prefer volume and quantity 

Usually it is because of small quantities.  

Many times we had problems with discrepancies in quantities and prices, therefore I had to decide on what would I do.

Family arrives somewhere on the East Coast, guessing Massachusetts, the poor parenting skills showed through as the single parent allowed the child to consume flaking paint chips on an exterior porch, for weeks of months, in large quantities.

They’re getting 0.5% rent to price but buying in markets where the quantity of new properties is substantial throttled by lots of rules/regulations/nimbyism and lack of vacant land. 

I don't want to leave large quantities of materials on site or move it around from my shop to the site and handle it multiple times to get the discount.The largest factor in my "where to purchase" decision is proximity.
