These are properties that are so back in property tax payments that a court order (Fi FA) has been obtained to seize the property if taxes are not paid.The counties and cities publish a list of those properties as tax sale lists.This approach works better in tax deed states where the property is auctioned off and not just a lien in the property.

I think that might be a better investment against possible leaksIt looks like the valve uploads data through a Wi-Fi connection to somebody else's computer. 

I've seen lots of folks get burned on re-fi's thinking it's a simple deal to calculate the ARV and then you'll get a 70%-80% LTV cash out...cash out re-fi's are expensive...I'm not saying it won't work, but be sure you fully understand your costs and market value.Best of luck going forward

@Tony F....I appreciate Chris Mason's perspective, but I think it all depends on exit strategy and if you're looking for peace of mind because you're actually going to hold these properties for the long haul. 

If she has a computer with wi-fi she should have the access code so that she can use it as well.

Will be using our own title company not theres.I'm really concerned with how they set a closing date for 3 weeks from now but said fi dancing this deal was allowed.Seems like from others experience that they will have to extend based in title issues.
