I quit my job several years ago and we live comfortably off my wife's income and still able to add to our savings but way slower now.Our current house is a great 3/2 built in 2005 but I updated it for with a koi pond,large paver patio, privacy fence,fruit trees, and other things making it a liability to rent so we want to sell it.

This isn't for everyone because it does come with some cons (loss of privacy, added interpersonal relationship to maintain, etc.) but it can also be a rewarding (financially and socially) experience.
