Introducing myself, Dayton Ohio

Kyle Landreth
Posted
My name is Kyle Landreth,I am 37 and married with no kids. I decided to make some big changes in my life and I am super motivated and excited to start building our wealth up and more importantly gaining "Total  Financial Freedom"  We have built up some equity over the years in our house that is paid off 120-140k and we have about 40-45k saved up not counting our 401k. I quit my job several years ago and we live comfortably off my wife's income and still able to add to our savings but way slower now.

Our current house is a great 3/2 built in 2005 but I updated it for with a koi pond, large paver patio, privacy fence, fruit trees, and other things making it a liability to rent so we want to sell it. That way I can completely focus on real estate investing using our savings and turning that equity into cash for this new adventure. I am still in the researching and making new contacts stages of this new business.

Our goals are to buy a single family, duplex, triplex,or quad depending on the best deal and what we find appealing since we will be living in it for awhile. Doing the BRRR strategy to get the bulk or all of my investment back(fingers crossed) so I can really start building up a decent portfolio of rental properties. 2-5 per year is my starting goal, and hopefully exponentially grow from there.

Once I get a good understanding and build the confidence I want to get family members evolved to help them financially succeed with my new knowledge and probably with me financing their investments at first.  I welcome all input and hope to build mutually beneficial  friendships with Biggerpocket's members.
