Buying my first property

Hey everyone!

I'm from Toronto Ontario and I'm currently looking for a property to purchase. Most likely a house hacking situation.

So I wanted to know if I should buy this house through an LLC and instead of me owning it, i was going to pay rent to my LLC.

Anyone have any ideas of what I should do instead or if this is a good idea?

To people in Toronto:

I'm new to all this so of anyone else is from Toronto and have meet ups in the GTA I would love to attend and just learn some more since my friends usually blank out when I try to explain realestate investing to them do the conversation never gets very far.
